What does a designer and a bookaholic have in common? They both love book covers!

"Losing You" by Kristin Marzullo
I worked with Kristin Marzullo, a self-published author, for the book cover design of her second book in her series, "Remember Me." Marzullo requested a blue-purple-pink color palette for a "blue" feeling. Other essential elements requested for this design was the butterfly, which was present in her first book and is part of the story itself. The author also requested that I utilize her existing typeface, as well.
A few months before the release of her book, Marzullo decided to pursue a different animation-style look to the cover and this idea was scrapped. Although my design didn't quite make it to the printing facility, this project was very exciting to me as an avid book reader who regularly dreams about making book cover designs in the future.
"Our Two-Way Street" by A. J. Maza
As a bookaholic, I can't help but daydream about book plots of my own throughout the day. That said, I have recently started writing more and though my "book" is not close to being finished, I designed a book cover for it.
